In the Bible we see various examples of people who deliberately chose not to serve God, such as the godless kings. On the other hand there are numerous people in the Bible who clearly showed that they wanted to serve God en be obedient to Him: Noah, Abraham, Moses, Joshua, Samuel, David, Josiah, Hezekiah, Isaiah, Daniel, the disciples, the converts on the day of Pentecost, the eunuch of Candace, the jailor in Philippi, etc.
